But we believe in a different way forward. One where thoughtful choices can protect the Earth we know and love.
That is why our eco-friendly alternatives are made from bamboo, a rapidly renewable resource that is soft, breathable, and gentle on the planet. Every product and service we offer is rooted in care for people and the planet. It is a win-win that feels good in every way.
Our Story
For as long as we can remember, our family has been our guide, teaching us the art of living sustainably. Most of our wardrobe came from cousins, and our vacations were spent exploring National Parks, mountain trails, and forests. But seeing these cherished places littered with plastic and waste broke our hearts—wrappers stuck in grass, recyclables tossed aside, and plastic buried in sand.
These sights stirred something within us, turning our love for nature into a genuine commitment to protect it. Small actions, like using a reusable bag or a water bottle, taught us that change starts at home.
That’s how Green Canes came to life—with a simple mission to create products that inspire small changes, leaving a lighter footprint on the planet while uplifting the people who call it home.
It All Began With a Question
Why does living well so often come at the planet’s expense?
The pursuit of profit too often sidelines people and the planet. “Sustainable living” is a buzzword now, splashed across packaging and promises. But in the noise, it’s easy to lose sight of what true sustainability means, especially when misinformation and greenwashing cloud the message.
At Green Canes, our journey began from a place of love. An unwavering love for nature.
To us, nature is sacred. It grounds us, humbles us, and teaches us resilience. We believe all living beings deserve equal respect, and there is nothing more magnificent or more real than the natural world. One of our greatest inspirations, Sir David Attenborough(https://www.instagram.com/davidattenborough/?hl=en), has shown us that hope lies in action and that every small choice matters.
Fueled by that belief, we came together with a simple yet powerful mission:

We knew we had to start close to home. Our goal was to bring conservation and climate-conscious action into our own backyard, right here in Ahmedabad.
That intention led us to where we are today:

Why Bamboo ?
Despite its tree-like appearance, Bamboo is actually a type of grass. Compared to traditional wood or petroleum-derived plastic, it is one of the most sustainable material. A few species of Bamboo are stronger than mild steel. Due to its durability and versatility, it is a valuable tool in our fight to climate change.
